Love Your Bird: Buzz the Small Bird with a Big Personality

Buzz, a cockatiel, was the only survivor of a clutch of four eggs. Since he looked like a buzzard, I named him "Buzz." He grew to adulthood but was a runt. Buzz was small but didn't realize it and would not let the other cockatiels push him around. He had a big personality. He was happy, always eager to get onto my finger and jump onto my shoulder. I could scratch him, hold him cupped in my hands, kiss him all over, or preen his head feathers. Buzz was special. He lived as if nothing were wrong. He was my buddy, and I was happy to have him. I didn't mind taking care of him because he was taking care of me.
