Welcome to Great Companions! We are a family-run business located in Northwest Iowa, and we pride ourselves in offering you our signature hometown service. Our goal is to provide our customers with superior quality and value in bird supplies. We’ve been in business for over 25 years, and we hope to serve you for over 25 more!

Following many months of deliberation and hard work, we released our newly rebranded website and catalog in the fall of 2015. Our fresh take incorporates the brilliant colors of your favorite feathers, keeping birds at the forefront of everything we do. This mantra guides our work at Great Companions: How can we put our customers first, and how can we provide the best bird care? We love birds – just like you! – and we demonstrate that love in the superior quality and exceptional value of our products. We won't sell anything that we would not feel comfortable giving to our own "great companions". Customer service (for both birds and people!) is our highest priority, and our team strives to go the extra mile to make your shopping experience with us a pleasant one.
