Prevent Dental Diseases

Did you know that 80% of dogs already have signs of gum disease by age 3? Food particles and bacteria will accumulate along the gums, causing plaque build-up and periodontal disease. You may notice symptoms of bad breath, red and swollen gums, discolored or fractured teeth and more.

Prevention is the best way to avoid dental problems, so in addition to veterinary check-ups, monitor your dog's teeth at home as well. Regular brushing, oral rinses and dental toys and treats will also keep plaque from building up and developing into more serious problems.
